1) - Thank you for all the lovin'! 

Especially Mum, Prisoner & Kristin for calling me to check up on my craziness!  Everything is good in La La Lucy Land! 

Also, thank you everyone for leaving such positive messages.  I have to get back to each and every one of you individually. 

With everything crazy and the beautiful weather I am embarrassed to say I fell behind on reading blogs, but I will soon catch up to see what everyone is up to.  I hope it is all good!

 

 

2) - Without blogging, I have put alot of energy into my little garden this week and came across some terrorists eating my flowers.  I plant them and the next day all of the flowers are GONE!  It is either the cute lil' bunnies hoping around or it is the chipmunks who have found a home beside my back porch under a bush.  I tend to lean towards the chipmunks as the culprits. 

I have spent hours on the internet trying to find a safe way to get rid of them.  I don't want to trap and release and certainly do not want to kill them. 

Does anyone have suggestions on a war plan for me? 

I can't even think about planting vegetables with this nuisance.

 

 

3)  Tomorrow, I will try to do my Over Heard in NY post.  Does anyone miss that?

 

 

4) Sunday I will post Six's interview with a secret blogger.  It is really very, very good.  I hope the cat isn't out of the bag on who it is.

 

 

5)  Also, Sunday I wish all the Daddy's a Happy Father's Day! 

It's also my dad's birthday and CH mother's birthday as well. 

My dad gets gyped (sp?) every year with gifts!

Well the crap hit the fan...

To say I am upset is a complete understatement.

My husband had no right to speak FOR me or share personal emails or IM I had with anyone.

He does not speak for me.

I am terribly sorry for anyone who was hurt by the chaos over the weekend.

To be honest I don't even know 100% what happened since I am not speaking to my husband for not trusting me.

I love you all and hope to get things resolved as soon as possible, if ever.

Yeah, maybe I am too trusting and naive but I am also a nice person who would never intentionally hurt anyone or bring drama to blogstream.

I was going to do a post on Overheard in NY today.  I haven't done it in awhile.

But I came upon a blogger who is in need of prayer and support.

I know we come here for all different reasons, to express ourselves to share and to have fun.

But the bottom line is most of us have become a family and someone in our family needs support.

Please take the time to read this.  I know he doesn't want sympathy, Mike is a proud man.  He just needs some positive energy and prayer and someone to let him know we care.

After I read this post and a PM from Mike I cried and thought of Sweet Annie and all she went through.  I also thought to myself how I complain about unimportant things like finances.  When something like this happens to someone, it makes you re-think your own problems as stupid and little. 

 

I Have Been Trying To Write For Days

I just can't think of the right words to put here that won't sound stupid.  I will still visit all my friends blogs when I can.  Everyone play nice.  I have known about this for awhile but there is something final when you actually see it on your own medical file in big red letters "Terminal" 3 to 6 months expected.  On the bright side they gave me better drugs. They aren't worried about addiction anymore. A Prayer to Padre Pio

Beloved Padre Pio, today I come to add my prayer to the thousands of prayers offered to you every day by those who love and venerate you. They ask for cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings, and peace for body and mind. And because of your friendship with the Lord, he heals those you ask to be healed, and forgives those you forgive.

Through your visible wounds of the Cross, which you bore for 50 years, you were chosen in our time to glorify the crucified Jesus. Because the Cross has been replaced by other symbols, please help us to bring it back in our midst, for we acknowledge it is the only true sign of salvation.

As we lovingly recall the wounds that pierced your hands, feet and side, we not only remember the blood you shed in pain, but your smile, and the invisible halo of sweet smelling flowers that surrounded your presence, the perfume of sanctity.

Padre Pio, may the healings of the sick become the testimony that the Lord has invited you to join the holy company of Saints. In your kindness, please help me with my own special request for ---- 

(make the sign of the Cross).

Five Fun Factoids

1) - My four year old son has never called me Mommy or my husband Papa......he calls us by our first names. He tries to get around it by calling us "he" & "she". When we are out in public I feel like the nanny....

 

2) 99% of the time Cuban Husband lets me have the remote. I have gotten him hooked on reality shows as a result.

 

3) I nursed all three of my children. It's such a bonding experience and was very sad when we stopped. My oldest daughter was 1 year old, my second daughter was 6 months and I had to stop my son at 2 yrs old. I think he would still nurse if I let him!

 

4) I didn't start smoking until I was 28 years old and going through a divorce. I am now 41 yrs old and still hide it from my family. When I spend long periods of time with them I become very grouchy because it is hard to sneak off. My mother, my girls and I went to the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas for a week once and I was constantly squatting behind palm tress hiding from my mother.

 

5) I love driving a stick shift. When I first met my ex-husband I bought a new car with a stick not knowing how to drive it so I would be forced to. I love to down shift! Now I drive a stickless mom-mobile mini-van.
