Reviews:

Steve Simms was a great match for us. He made the members laugh. He told stories that everyone could identify with and delivered the message in a low-key manner. His stories provoked thought and consideration. When the group left they collectively 'had a smile on their face.' I highly recommend Steve Simms. He made us think and laugh--often at the same time--and sent people away feeling good.

Jeffrey Nevins--Communications Director
Maine Municipal Association

Not only were you entertaining, providing us with many opportunities to laugh with you, but we left with valuable tips that I am personally using on a daily basis! "Delay Negative Judgement" has become a favorite phrase. We were especially impressed with your personalization of your program by conducting interviews with a few of our folks. It's been a delight to work with you.

Jodi McConaughy--Direct Marketing Mgr.

Steve captures an audience with an easy style and humor that is unique. On an audience's 'likeability' meter, Steve goes off the scale. You can actually feel the room go through an 'attitude liftoff.' Steve's content has substance and his style is truly a pleasure to experience.

Meeting God in Strangers

By Steve Simms

SteveYou don't shoot salesmen, do you?" asked a 20 year old white boy as he stood on a black man's front porch in Columbus, Georgia during the racial uprising of the summer of 1971. The smiling white boy was wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and sandals; and holding a sample copy of Ebony's Pictorial History of Black America.

"Oh no! No Sir! We don't shoot salesmen. Come on in here." said the black man.

The white boy warmly shook the black man's hand as he walked into the living room and asked, "May I sit down?"

"Have a seat." the black man said and pointed to a couch covered with clear plastic. Above the couch was a picture of three men; Martin Luther King, Jr., President Kennedy, and Bobby Kennedy. Beside that was a picture of a black Jesus.

The white boy sat down and began to flip through the pages of Ebony's Black History. He showed pictures of slavery, lynching, segregation, police dogs, Madame C. J. Walker, Jackie Robinson, and even the Jackson Five.

Somewhere during the sales presentation the white boy asked the black man if he knew Jesus as his Savior. The black man smiled from ear-to-ear and said; "I couldn't have made it without Jesus!"

"The white boy said: "I love Him too!" He put down the Ebony sample book and they began to talk excitedly about "sweet Jesus." Before long they were holding hands and praying for each other.

Then they embraced warmly, both wiping away tears. When the white boy left, the black man said, "You be careful, Son!"

The white boy said, "Thank you, brother. You too!" Then he walked across the yard to the small house next door. He knocked on the door. A black lady opened the door. The white boy said: "Hi, I'm Steve Simms. You don't shoot salesmen do you?"

This happened many times a day that summer as I sold black history books door-to-door in the middle of a racial uprising in Columbus, Georgia. A few times I went into my "territory" and found a white-owned grocery store had been burned out. Once I was knocking on doors and police in riot gear marched down the street. But I was never threatened, never harmed, and almost always was warmly received. I even sold books to Black Panthers and was treated well by them.

Many times I would be showing my book and find out my prospect was a Christian. I would lay the book down and have wonderful fellowship with my Christian brother or sister. We would testify about God's work in our lives and pray for each other, sometimes for hours. I was always amazed at the kinship and love we "strangers" felt for each other.

I vividly remember one day when I was feeling discouraged and homesick. Suddenly a large black woman came around the corner of her house right in front of me. She was joyously singing, "Where Could I Go But To The Lord."

I told her I was really discouraged and needed God's help. She put her hands on me and began to pray. It was one of those kinds of prayer you can feel all over your body and way down in your soul.

Glory to God! I get excited thinking about it, even now, 31 years later. God is good! He's "better felt than 'telt.'" And God wants to bless you and me through brothers and sisters of a different race.

I encourage you to seek out a Christian of a different race. Share Jesus together and pray. You will be amazed at how much God will bless you!

Steve Simms is pastor of God's Glory & Grace Church of God in Christ in inner city Franklin, TN. He is also a professional speaker and author of two books: Mindrobics--How To Be Happy For The Rest Of Your Life and Your Sperm Won--Experiencing Your Value As A Championship Human Being.

Serenity Now

The Importance of Inner Peace

 Tips from author Steve Simms

Here's What It Takes To Achieve Inner Peace

Ever notice how some people never seem to let anything get under their skin? They could have been stuck in traffic for an extra hour, spilled coffee on their new suit and missed their daily report deadline--all before noon--and still manage to exude a mind-boggling level of happiness and calm. Doesn't it make you sick?

Well, it shouldn't. In fact, you'd probably be a lot better off if you had that inner peace that seems so elusive in the daily grind. While remaining stable on the inside when everything around you is bordering on chaos may be a challenge, it certainly isn't impossible.

"Often, there isn't much we can do about our high-pressure circumstances," says Steve Simms, president of Attitude-Lifter Enterprises in Brentwood, Tennessee, and author of Mindrobics: How to Be Happy for the Rest of Your Life . "But you can de-stress your mind and emotions."

Indeed, there are a variety of things you can do--taking regular vacations, exercising and getting enough sleep are just a few of them--to keep stress in check. But maintaining a constant state of inner serenity will take patience and practice. Simms offers seven characteristics of internally peaceful people. Incorporate them into your own stress-management routine, and you'll be calm, cool and collected on a regular basis.

* Peaceful people are mentally tough. They maintain inner peace by resisting and driving away anxiety-producing thoughts.

* Peaceful people limit their responsibility. They have resigned as general manager of the universe.

* Peaceful people learn and develop the skills to be effective. They organize, delegate, avoid procrastination, prioritize and avoid perfectionism while pursuing excellence, using time-saving tools and know-how, and knowing when to say "no."

* Peaceful people take physical and mental breaks. They know how to relax, unwind, play, pray and get silly.

* Peaceful people don't chase rabbits. They don't drop a high-priority task to pursue a less urgent one.

* Peaceful people focus. When they are doing one thing, they aren't thinking about something else.

* Peaceful people nurture and develop their spiritual life. They don't neglect matters of the soul and the sense of inner peace they produce.

The Challenge of Optimism

"Not Caving in to Your Personal Capacity For Despair"

Steve Simms, author of Mindrobics: How to Be Happy the Rest of Your Life, offers this advice for those times when situations fail to meet our expectations:

Withhold Judgment
Take a deep breath. While he makes an exception for obvious tragedies (the death of a loved one, for instance), he insists that in most cases we’re on good ground not to make immediate negative judgments about situations that disappoint us.

Simm’s advice is good wisdom. Most of our negative judgments are based on very limited information; we know little about what is going on “behind the scenes,” or about how events will unfold in the future as a result of the situation that’s currently discouraging us. Over time, we often find that circumstances which we initially viewed pessimistically have benefited us in significant ways. With the advantage of hindsight, we now see them in a quite different light. Given that fact, we do well, as a matter of principle, to resist passing judgment on any situation until significant time has passed.

Reviewer: A reader
Emphasizing long-term attitude-lifting techniques over short-term hype, MINDROBICS abundantly achieves its stated goal of providing "techniques for taking control of your mind and directing it down positive paths on a regular basis." Especially worthwhile are the chapters on "Ten Myths About Happiness" and "Eight Practical Steps to Problem-Solving." Without hesitation I can enthusiastically recommend MINDROBICS to anyone who wants to enjoy life more, and to live it more fully!

...the sense of community, that big invisible “Welcome” sign that hangs in the window of this place is just so incredible, the way everyone finds their voice here so quickly, it never ceases to amaze me....

Standing in the rising heat of Carson City, I check the slip of paper again, making sure I’m at the right address. Sure enough, this is it. With slight trepidation, I knock softly, hoping I’m not arriving too early at the “Tomb”. I listen for footsteps in my anticipation of meeting a Blogstream favorite, when the door slowly creaks open…and there he is…the man himself…

Scratch is that you? Gosh, it’s so great to finally meet you and thank you for allowing me this interview. Are you ready to get started? I hope I’m not too early.

No Puppy, its not too early at all, in fact its an honor to have you here in The Tomb anytime. Just let me dust off the cob webs and we can get this shindig started.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Wonderful! Hey, your new futon looks even better than the pictures on your blog. I’ll just make myself comfy there. Oops,….uh….there aren’t any dragons under there, are there? Just where does Asa sleep since you “disassembled” your old couch?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Uh.. no he's got a condo uptown someplace now I think.. Have a seat Pup, lemme open the drapes. Uh.. don't mind the dust…can I offer you some coffee or a brew of some kind?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Coffee would be great! Mmm, that’s delicious. You make a mean cup of java, my friend. You’re a gracious host, especially since we all know that the famous “Scratch” is definitely not a morning person. Okay, since you’re ready, can you tell our readers what brought you to the “Stream” in the first place and what you enjoy the most about it?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

I was listening to Leo Laporte’s radio show on the internet and he mentioned the word “Blog” I wasn’t sure what that meant so I googled it, and ended up cruising different sites looking for a place to try to settle into. I tried looking really hard at three or four but decided The blogstream was the place for me, I just needed to write again and it seemed like the perfect fit.

As for what I enjoy most about it? Probably the sense of community, that big invisible “Welcome” sign that hangs in the window of this place is just so incredible, the way everyone finds their voice here so quickly, it never ceases to amaze me.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Welcome sign….very well put, my friend. I know I speak for many when I say that I’m very glad you found the Stream for a place to settle. You are now one of the cornerstones of our little “community” and definitely a favorite of many.

I remember when we all had plain text and white backgrounds, but we still had great times. One of the best things about Blogstream in the beginning were the spontaneous “blog-fests” that happened periodically.  Kind of what I commonly refer to as “comments gone wild”.   Which of these do you remember that make you chuckle the most and why?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Out of all of them? That’s a tough one. I got a kick out of all of them, but the two that I can narrow it down to is “The German Helmet hat” incident, aka “Blogstream Court” and of course that whole Penny roll thing was kind of funny, although the thought of seeing Diesel in a thong is more than a little scary.  The people involved made them priceless.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Haha, I had a feeling you would mention the “German Helmet” thing and glad you did because it’s a favorite of mine too.  Ice and I both laughed for hours during that one and I have to hand it to you for being a very good sport, which made it all the better.  And for the penny rolls, well…..I’m truly sorry about that incident and I promise it was purely an accident. Again, you were a great sport about that. Actually, BELLE got me drunk, so I have to plead temporary insanity anyway.  My first memory of one such blogfest was the party at PRANK'S place while he wasn’t home.  Now, THAT was some party! Was that Halloween?

And speaking of Halloween, your “Halloween Odyssey” has always been one of my favorites. You’re a very talented man, my friend. Tell me….where did your interest in vampires come from? You have written a lot about them.  And what other hidden talents and interests do you have that we haven’t been privy to so far?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

You mean besides the voices in my head? (joking) I saw Dracula with Bela lugosi when I was ten and I was hooked.  I just didn’t like the traditional weaknesses of the vampires in the movies and I decided early that if I ever wrote about a vampire, they were going to be uniquely different than those in the movies, none of the traditional weaknesses, no garlic, no cross, etc.. the daywalker thing had already been done, but I did it anyways.. A vampire that can come out in the daytime? How scary is THAT ? And as for any other interests that I have? I like to doodle with art sometimes, and play around with the Strat once in awhile, other than that I pretty much just keep to myself and write.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Vampires in the daytime….now that is a scary thought. Geez, I’ve got goosebumps just thinking about it, but I think I may still have Asa in the back of my mind. The backs of my legs feel a little warm, so are you absolutely sure he’s moved out? Uh oh, I just had another thought. That big beautiful tiger wouldn’t happen to be under this futon, would he?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Mr P? naw.. He’s too big for the futon, you might want to watch out for the scorpions and tarantulas though.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Uh….er….uh…..ya know, I think I’d rather stand for a while…gulp. There, that’s better. I think I just need to stretch my legs a little after the trip here.

Uh….now where was I? (looking around nervously)….uh…oh yeah! You’re a single man and seem to be very comfortable with your life. But I’m gonna put you on the spot a little, if that’s okay. Can you describe the perfect woman for you? And since I can see the twinkle in your eye about the result of your little “scorpions and tarantulas” remark, I’m gonna throw in a little extra challenge for ya. Is there a woman on the blog that closely resembles that perfect woman or a combination of the attributes of a few of them?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Elvira.. Yeah.. She’s hot.. Lookee there ma, your baby boys grinning from ear to ear.. There’s a new hottie in his life.. And she isn’t a Dragon, Tiger, or any other kind of creepy crawly.. If there’s a woman on the Stream that has ANY of her attributes you tell ‘er uncle Scratch has a present for her.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Hmmm…..Elvira, huh? Okay, I was wondering how the crafty Scratch would sidestep that one and you didn’t disappoint.

(Sorry girls, I tried).

Now…..I’ve noticed in your blog that you have a strong sense of conviction and a very “protective” sense toward children, women and animals. Who or what do you attribute such an admirable quality?

And….uh…..just what the heck is that thing I see moving over there by that chair?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

My Mom. A stronger human being I’ll probably never know, she went through that whole abuse thing with my step father the whole time I was growing up.  I had a growth spurt when I was seventeen, and one day they got to drinking a bit and he smacked her.  I lost it and threw him about ten or fifteen feet I was so pissed. All I really remember doing after that was screaming at him with every ounce of rage that I could muster.. He didn’t want to play that game any more after that..

I absolutely hate abusers of any kind.. The emotional scars that they leave behind on their victims are still there long after the physical ones have healed.  Women, children, and even some men, nobody should have to live through that.. I’ve seen it in animals too, beaten down so bad that they flinch every time you raise your voice, even if its in laughter.. I hate that.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

My heart goes out to you and your mother. And I’m sorry you had to experience such a thing, but I do believe it has made you a very caring person and it shows strongly in your writing.  I think there are too many stories just like yours nowadays and I think I speak for many of us when I agree with you wholeheartedly about bullies and abusers. Thank you for your candor, my friend. I could visit with you all day about that, but I’m sure you have other plans and Ice is waiting for me back at the NR jet.

So, let’s move to the first of “THE” questions that we all must answer…..What five people from the Stream would you most like to meet and why?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Oh Pits.. Only five?.. Well I can’t do only five because there are so many that I would like to meet, I have made so many wonderful friends here on the Blogstream, so it really wouldn’t do any of you justice to choose only five. How about I just narrow the field, I’m going to borrow a page from our lovely friend Daisy’s book and do five of the newer bloggers.

(All names are also links....click the name and it will bring you to their blog site.)

#1- SHERRY'S CHERRIES

I think meeting Sherry of "Raindrops Makes Things Beautiful" would be a blast, she has a great sense of humor and doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously.

#2 RITA B

Rita of "Momma Never Told Me", because she just has all of those qualities in a person like the kind that I grew up knowing, she seems so nice, and yet you wouldn’t want to mess with her too much.  I know she’s been here since November, but I just had to put her in there she’s an important part of this community .

#3 MR. ORNERY

Well what can you say about Mr O. of  "Mr. Ornery's Corner"?  He just has that kind of sly sense of humor that puts me on the floor laughing.  You never know what to expect out of Mr O.

#4 CITIZEN ZANE

Citizen Zane of “Like My feelings Are Observed”, just because he seems like someone that would be very interesting to sit and talk too.

#5 QUIOXTE

Quioxte of “Hot Flashes” is another woman with a wicked little sense of humor.  And she seems to know how to have fun with everything.  Its important, to be able to laugh.

Of course the choices really come in no particular order I would really like to meet so many.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

Great choices!  I’m familiar with all of these and have to agree with your selection.  And I agree about the “only five” thing.  I cheated on my interview and got away with it, so I was willing to let you slide too.

Okay, last but not least, what cd’s are currently in your player?

And uh….you never did tell me what that thing is that seems to be scurrying around under that chair? (inching toward the door).

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

What?.. Who?.. HIM?? Damn bill collectors.. How many times do I gotta bury you man?

Huh? Oh.. Yeah right.. The cd thingy.. five cd’s are in heavy rotation in the Tomb right now, that sort of reflect my taste in music..

1 - The Essential Leonard Cohen

2 - Elegant Gypsy by Al DiMeola

3 - When A Guitar Plays The Blues by Roy Buchanan

4 - The Reunion CD by Cream

5 - The Best of John Hiatt

I’ve been told that I have strange taste in music.. but I mostly listen to whatever strikes my mood at the time I’m listening.

By the way, I sincerely hope your back feels better my friend.

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

(wide eyed) Okie dokie….uh…

Oh hey, you’re taste in music is not stra..uh..unusual at all, my friend.

Oh come on, you wouldn’t really bury…uh…er..well, never mind.

You do have a wide variety there, for sure, but that’s right down my alley, so I totally agree on that.  Good music choices too!  Some I’m not familiar with, but I’ll be looking them up for a listen because Ice and I are always open to a great new song we haven’t heard. Thank you for that.

And thanks for the well wishes also.  I do think I’m making a little progress every day and I have a lot of great friends like you pulling for me, so there ya go!  Can’t ask for better than that.

Is there anything you’d like to add or comment on?

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

No I really can’t really think of anything else off hand that needs to be said, except thank you Pup for considering me for this interview thingy. I’m flattered really.  And thank you for being a friend to me and so many others here on our little stream..

Oh and don’t mind HIM, I’ll bury him again later.. and if you see Elvira.. well.. you know send her by.. Woof.. Woof... Woof !

Thanks for coming to The Tomb Pup!

www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws www.Bigoo.ws

The pleasure is all mine, for sure.  And if I run across Elvira, I’ll certainly relay the message.  And since you’ll be taking care of uh…“Him”, I want to thank you for taking the time to let all of us on the Stream get to know the great “Scratch”, aka "Scratchomo", aka "Scratchy", aka "Uncle Scratch", a little better.

You’ve been a gracious host and since I’m already at the door, I’ll just let myself out and get out of your hair. Thank you so much for this opportunity and I’ll get this on the wire to Lucy at the Blogger Enquirer today for next week’s issue.  Bye now, and best of wishes to you, my friend.

(dialing cell phone)

ICE !  I did it! I got a great exclusive interview with the famous “Scratch” and I’m soooo excited.  Can you calm Sugar down so I can hear you?  Thanks….

You’ve got the jet fired up? Great!

All of the names below are also links...click on them and they will bring you to the bloggers site.

Okay, now where did that deranged squirrel go?

   DAISY

Please don’t bang your head against the wall, it can cause brain damage.

 WHIT

Mama is ninety-three years old. She often scolds me for being forgetful. "Lord-a-mercy, Young'un," she'll say, shaking her head at me. "I'll declare if you wouldn't forget your rear end and leave it in the chair if it wasn't already in your pants."

LADY LEE

That went over like a turd in a punch bowl!

Is it WRONG to dress up like a head of lettuce and then bolt into a blood drive, grab 5 pints of blood, and then speed away on a unicycle that has been constructed from a wheel and gerbil ovaries?

Just say no to Gerbil Ovaries, it could lead to the harder stuff...

PRANK

I know that here in Alabama, it's illegal on TUESDAYS to dress up as an adverb or as Don Knotts on crack so....

I think you wear loafers when dressed as a head of lettuce.  Randy
Parts of it sound morally wrong.....had you thought of riding a Harley directly into the blood drive and pronouncing that you were freeing the blood from future slavery....that might take care of the outstanding morality issues.

I leave little pieces of my heart and soul all over the Stream.

SHARINGCHER

Not every guy in glasses spouting poetry is deep and not every brother quoting scripture is righteous.

ME: What were your favorite toys growing up?
MYSELF: My "Etch-A-Sketch" and my Barbies. In my world, Barbie loved GI Joe, btw, and not Ken

You run a very clean prison camp here sir, very nice indeed...

ROSIE

Naked Rain Dances are best done in the quiet of the woods or remote and secluded areas away from populated areas.

I'm tempted to try that naked rain dancing in my back yard. I have neighbors who could see.

I won't tell on you about the rock concert nudity, if you don't tell on me about the wet T-shirt contest.

Funny thing is --- years ago I dabbled in it too!

While in the ocean I was slammed by a massive wave and my top came off…

There would be a whole lotta quacking going on!

Well, whenever I lose my suit while swimming at the public pool I just bust into the funky chicken dance and that stuns the crowd long enough for me to make my get away!

You can call me your "missing link" if you wish to.

How in the houndog do ya fry jello?

Hit The Face

"Pubic Transportation"

"Scared the Buttermilk Outta Me"

"Oh, geez, everyone thinks we are possum eating goobers down here anyway"

COLO

I have some of the best conversations with my crazy aunts.

Z WEB USA

Could you imagine the ad for "High Times" magazine over my blog? Or ads for "smoking accessories"?

BIG AL

I'd been sitting in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.

KRISTIN

Sweaty and sticky, with a 100% chance of Perspiration.

SQUASH

Surely, there's gotta be "a few good men" available out there between the ages of 38 and 48 who are unattached, unmarried and AREN'T looking for 25 year olds.... aren't there?

SIX

Sometimes I climb walls
Wondering daily
How come she don't
Live down my Street

PRANK

Pop an aspirin and breathe deep.

RE KNOWLTON III

Yeah air shows get pretty loud, and dangit, if I'm going to get a headache, by golly it's gonna be from whiskey.

ADAM WARLOCK

One way of avoiding the heat during this prolonged hot spell is to visit your local mall or department store. You can suck up someone else's air conditioning for a time.

BOB HOLT

If we could spread Internet connections, like we spread hate and intolerance, Seven wouldn't be in this predicament.

ADAM WARLOCK

Hmmm, I have this spot in the bedroom.....OH NO....
I've become a CAT PERSON.  WHAT'S UP WID DAT??????

SHERRY'S CHERRIES

I keep thinking exercise.   I get up, get dressed, have coffee.  That’s a triathlon, right?

QUIXOTE

I love Cuba. I love the United States.
I have a Cuban Heart, but I am American AT heart !

MISS T

It's going to be fun, though. A week in the mountains of West Virginia, with ample alcohol, music and possibly illicit substances.

Oh...and hippies.  Lots of hippies.

EVAN

It’s so hot my sweat is sweating!
