1- Did you watch the Oscars?

Yes of course !  And I made popcorn...

 

2 - Which movies nominated have you seen ?

Little Miss Sunshine, The Departed, Dream Girls & United 93.

The others I will probably watch on DVD.

   

 

3 - How do you think Ellen did as a host ?

I think she was fabulous...the show was very long, but she kept it interesting and funny. 

I loved when she mugged with Scorsese and Clint Eastwood...and when she broke out that vauccum cleaner, I was cracking up !

 

4 - What was your opinion of the dance troupe Philobolus ?

I was simply amazed...after awhile CH and I would try to guess what they were going to do next....awesome !

 

5 - Who was the best dressed female/worst ?

I loved Helen Mirren & Penelope Cruz the best.

 

I don't have a worst pick, I thought all of the women looked beautiful.

 

6 - Who was the best dressed male/worst ?

Honestly, I think they all look alike, but Leo Di Caprio looked cutest.

And a shout out for Al Gore's movie - An Uncomfortable Truth

 

7 - What award disappointed you....who did you want to win and didn't ?

I think for best supporting actor, Eddie Murphy should have won. 

He was so entertaining in Dream Girls.  Loved it !

 

8 - What award made you yell out loud OH YEAH !

Jennifer Hudson and Martin Scorsese !!

Jennifer was amazing in Dream Girls - she can act & sing..

And Martin Scorsese finally got it !

PS - The bar scenes in The Departed were actually filmed in Brooklyn in a bar Cuban Husband I have been to called....

The big glass Jack Nicholson drinks out of is actually a glass they put shots of Tequilla in....needless to say I got very, very sick !

And that my friends, is that LAST time I drank Tequilla !

I loved all of the Dream Girl songs but Celine Dion sings like an angel...

Forest Whitaker....his was so sincere and spiritual and humble.

These are comments SQUASH left for me and then quickly deleted from Lookin's comment page. (posted below) He made sure I recieved it via private CC first....since he is blocked from leaving comments & harassing me on my own blog.  He has done this from time to time for the last six months, but I have always ignored him.  Christmas was an especially hard time because he kept insisting daily that I include him in my Blogstream Holiday movie.  When I didn't respond he got nasty. I have never spoke about the harrassment on my blog.  I didn't want to keep this going on.  My blog is meant to be light and fun.  I shy away in blog and in real life from controversy. He does this via email and private comments even though I have blocked him from both.  I have never responded to him.  But I just can't ignore it any longer. This has turned abussive.  Ignoring him doesn't make him go away, perhaps making this public will. As you can see for yourself this was totally unprovoked. Yet, he and Mistress Reba continually harass me on her blog lying about me & continuing this...spewing lies and perpetuating the hatred.  She is obsessed with me because of my friendship with one of her friends in real life (jealousy) and because she knows I know things about her which would incriminate and embarrass her (which I have never spoken about publically - not my style).  Feel free to read any post from the last six months...neither of them have ever been mentioned on my blog.  THEY are the ones who continue this...not me. However, I want you all to know the other side of Squash, the one who gets off on sending me sick comments. He claims he is remorseful for his sins yet he hates the truth and obviously hates women.  A truly remorseful, self proclaimed, pedophile would accept the reaction of those whom he has scammed, lied to, manipulated and victimized.  He chooses not to.  I was his friend, I was his biggest supporter....I trusted him, I felt sorry for him. I was fooled. He manipulates and tries to make you feel sorry for him...all the while having a motive; to gain your trust and then use and abuse you for his sick amusement & entertainment.  He is a predator.... Be warned.......he has harassed MANY women on Blogstream. Mistress Reba and I were on friendly terms up until I didn't respond to Squash's badgering to include him in my holiday movie.  She has a pattern in real life of defending pedophiles to gain notariaty in the press.  I bet none of you knew this about her.  It's all about attention.  I have done NOTHING to her, don't believe her for a second. So she has taken this and snow balled it into a war which I never wanted to participate in.  And YES Reba I have deleted each and every one of my comments on your blog....why?  Because I want no association with someone like you or Squash.  I never want anyone to read your posts and think I agree with your morals and values, with your hatred and lies. Do your lies hurt me, yes they do, you won.  Why, because I am afraid that someone will believe you.  It upsets me to think someone believes your lies about me and that I am a monster like you.  It couldn't be further from the truth.
