" Foot Photos 1  "

If your photo or name has been left out of the production, please let me know ASAP.

I had the movie all ready to go and triple checked it and then it disappeared from my PC at 7:30 pm.

(yes I did save it, didn't help !)

I had to re-do the video very quickly.

I left out Whit from the credits, which was my favorite.  The last movie I left out Puppy, so if you are not credited please tell me and I apologize.

I am editing the movie to be seen next Friday with the names of the bloggers on each photo and the winners from the categories.

Please cast your votes for the following categories.  You may submit three choices for each category.

1) - Best Pedicure

2) - Most Original

3) - Funniest Feet

4) - Feet You Would Like to Meet

5) - Smelliest Feet

6) - Most Artistic Feet

7) - Scariest Feet

8) - There Is A Fungus Among Us

9) - Best Group Photo

10) - Favorite Foot - # 1

Each picture has a name in the movie so vote that way or your best description of a pix.

You can vote by Private Message so it can be a surprise to the winners or on public comments.

Thank you everyone who participated...

You are the best !

Love Lucy

I also need your input on ideas for the next movie.

Should we do baby pictures or tattoos?

Do you have another suggestion?

I will calculate these votes as well.

We have one vote for butts so far, I'm game!

Are you ??

In the News:

I wrote a post on Syd Barrett a while back.  He is one of the founding fathers of Pink Floyd.  Syd passed away in London in the beginning of the week.  The Pink Floyd hit "Shine on You Crazy Diamond"  was written about Syd by his bandmates after he ultimately had a nervous breakdown and quit the band and reality.

One of my favorite books of all time is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. There was a very interesting article about her in People magazine.  Charles Sheilds has written an unauthorized book of the reclusive Lee.  To view the book click the link below:

PINK FLOYD

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond"

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.

Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.

You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.

Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.

Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.

Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.

Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

IN THE NEWS WEDNESDAY

What do you think about this ad ?

King of Jews and Beers

Drivers in Houston this week were treated to a sight that inspired reverence, awe and thirst.

Looming high above the intersection of La Branch and Winbern, on a billboard appeared a poster of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus H. Christ, raising a 12-ounce can of Budweiser. Surrounding the mouthwatering Messiah were the words "King of Jews" and "King of Beers."

"I thought that was just crazy," said commuter Jose Cazares. "It looks professional too."

Sadly, it appears the art is not the work of professionals - at least not professionals sanctioned by the firm that leases the billboard. They say they have no idea who is responsible, they only know that it isn't them.

Posters bearing the same message were made famous by agit-prop maestro Ron English.

Curiously, English has been in Houston for the past few months working on a giant mural inspired by Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" to go on display in the exhibit "PowerPathos" at the Station Museum.

In an article last week in the Houston Chronicle, the artist claimed that he no longer hijacked billboards in Texas because the criminal penalties are too severe. And yet, just six weeks ago, another billboard typical of English's work -- Jesus manning a UFO -- appeared at the corner of Montrose and Fairview in downtown Houston.

Among his favorite targets for billboard attacks is Ronald McDonald. He loathes the way the seemingly friendly clown preys on kids, trying to get them to eat crap food.

"Imagine my family and your family lived on an island," he says. "And I walked up to your little kid and handed him a cigarette and a lighter.

"You'd punch me in the face, right?"

Folks in the area say the poster appeared -- like a vision -- about a week ago. Sadly, all the attention brought to the sign by local news coverage has spurred the billboard's owners into action. As of Tuesday, the billboard showed a PSA for adoption.

Though English was first inspired to create guerrilla billboard art while stuck in Houston's traffic, though he lived there for several years and though he has been in town for most of the summer, he insists he knows nothing about the recent billboard attacks.

Lucy's Humble Opinion

I love Jesus and I love beer but this ad offends me.

(if it is indeed an ad)

I think a wine ad would have gone over better.
